Julia Roberts may appear in a cameo role on the American musical comedy Glee.

Ryan Murphy, the creator of the hit TV series, said the Pretty Woman star is a fan of the show.

"She saw the rough cuts and fell in love with the show," News.com.au quoted Murphy, as saying.

He added: "I don't know if Julia's going to do it - maybe. But she loves the show."

Jennifer Lopez has already confirmed an appearance on the series, while Olivia Newton-John will croon her 1981 hit, Physical, alongside Cheerios coach Sue Sylvester (Jane Lynch). (ANI)
