Long Island doctor stripped off his medical license over phone sex with patient

    (ANI)

A Long Island doctor's license to practice medicine has been cancelled after he got hooked on having phone sex with one of his patients.

Dr. Michael Eisenberg, 65, treated patients with drug addictions.

A Health Department disciplinary committee found that the doc engaged in an "abusive," two-year relationship with a woman sent to him for treatment for alcohol abuse.

The panel declared him morally unfit to practice medicine and stripped him of his license.

"The overwhelming evidence in this case clearly establishes that Dr. Eisenberg engaged in a sexual relationship with a very ill patient and that this act did her harm," the New York Daily News quoted the panel as saying in a report. (ANI)
